This painting was painted around the same time as another painting by Vincent Van Gogh called Bowl with Peonies and Roses. These paintings can be brought from many companies on the internet like Portrait Painting Inc. I have used this company many times to buy oil reproductions and now my home in the USA looks like a mini art gallery. Tamron Lenses Brings You Closer to Nature

Filed under: Photography — Tags: — admin @ 11:41 am

The Tamron lenses both offers short to telephoto lenses, to give you the still that you’ve always wanted. Photography in general takes time, enough resources and constant yearning for knowledge. NatGeo photographers started out just like any other novice, but with constant practice and strong determination, it has brought them to where they are right now.

If you’re aiming for a more professional-looking photo, just like in the NatGeo photographers, you need to concentrate on taking natural sceneries, and more on the landscape stills. One of the key elements in having a superior quality photo is your lens. Using the right lens can spell a great difference. For landscape photos, you need to use wide-angled and telephoto lenses. Wide angled-lenses give you a striking background as well as the foreground. Telephoto lenses, on the other hand, provide you with better visualization of distant objects. All of these lenses are carried by Tamron making it affordably convenient for you.

I Miss My Daily Drawings

Filed under: Photography — Tags: — admin @ 6:49 am

I really miss having the time to be able to draw and paint. Now I spend most of my time working. I used to have a long commute on the train, which was a pain because it took four hours out of my day every day, but at least then I had time to draw.

Being on the train is actually really relaxing. It is also great if you are interested in drawing things, because you have the whole landscape rushing by you as the train goes through different towns to get your destination. I was able to do a lot of drawings of different places at different times of year. Like there was one garden that we would flash by that had amazing tulips in the spring, roses in the summer, and excellenct bushes in the fall that would turn a bright orange and red. In the winter the walls and paths of the garden stand out in nice black and white contrast.

Why to Buy Botanical Prints for Your Home

Filed under: Photography — Tags: — admin @ 8:23 am

One big reason to buy botanical prints for you home is so that you can be closer to nature. Here, in the pacifi northwest, we have a very gray and wet fall and winter. Sometimes, it rains through April and May and so it is nice to have a reminder inside our homes that there actually is a world outside where the sun shines and things are sunny. This is why it is so important for those of us living up here to bring botanical prints to our homes. While it is extremely green and beautiful here year round, it is sometimes a bit boring in the fall and especially the winter when things seem like they are never going to be not gray. We need to have a reminder of life outside our doors. If you want to experience some of your own brightness, please consider buying botanical prints.

Sisters New Job!

Filed under: Photography — Tags: — admin @ 8:14 pm

I got a phone called from my sister-in-law today. She was telling me how she had finally gotten a new job and it wasn’t what she expected. She was telling me that the most exciting part of her first day was that she got to design her own name tag. She got to sit at a computer and choose between two different styles of name tags – round- edged or square-edged. She was telling me there she got to pick between her name tag being white, silver, or gold. The most exciting part was that she got to choose the type of text that was on her name tag – she chose a simple black text that complimented the white, round-edged name badges perfectly. The name tag should arrive to her place of employment within seven days and after it comes in, she will be proudly sporting her wonderful name tag
